Its that time of year again, when we are getting ready for Christmas, family and Santa. Sadly not everyone will be looking forward with anticipation, instead simple hoping for food, warmth or a small present. Thankfully there are goups like 'Little Blue Heroes' and 'Barnados' out there. Both help the youngest and most vulnerable in society and this Christmas we ask that you join us in making a donation at https://www.littleblueheroes.org/donate/ or https://www.barnardos.ie/christmas

Obtaining verification
Some parts of this forum may require you to be logged in and verified as a serving emergency services member.

You are encouraged to become verified if you are a serving or former member of the emergency services. Once you become verified you will be able to post in the restricted area.

Unfortunately we are unable to verify people who have obtained senior ranks within the various organisations.

If you still wish to apply, please provide Admin with your name, occupation, station, start date and work / registered number via E-mail only. This information will be checked discreetly and privately.

For former emergency services staff it will also be a requirement that you retired or resigned in good standing having completed a reasonable period of service.

Current trainees will be required to provide additional information on completing their training. Failure to prove you have succeeded in your training will result in verification being removed.

Then once you have posted in the public area a minimum of ten times over one week and the necessary checks have been completed you will become verified

Please don't ask about the verification process prior to applying as the process will not be explained to anyone who has not supplied the correct information or to non emergency services personnel.

It should also be noted that users who obtain verification must continue to post on a monthly basis or their verification will be removed. Should this happen to you please post in the public area over a period of 2 weeks and ten posts before contacting the administrator.

Any user who loses their verification three times due to inactivity will be suspended for one month. Any user who loses it five times will not be reinstated.
